Does the Visitors app work on both Android and iPhone?

Yes, the Visitors app is available for Android as well as IOS.

How do I become a member of a parking group?

When you have registered as a user, you need to become part of a parking group. You will receive three suggested groups that are geographically closest to you. If none of the suggested groups are right for you, there is a search bar where you can type in a specific area/group name.

Can I be a member of several parking groups?

Yes, there is no limit to how many groups you can be a member of.

Is it possible to book ahead?

Yes, you can book ahead, for example it is possible to make a booking that will start in a week.

In the app it says ‘An error occurred - are you connected to the internet?’

It usually works, if you log out and log in again. You log out, by pressing ‘Profile’ in the menu at the bottom and clicking ‘Log out’. If that does not solve the problem, feel free to contact us via email: info@visitors.dk or give us a call: +45 71 99 00 07 info@visitors.dk eller tlf. 71 99 00 07.

Is it possible to add more than one car?

Yes, it is possible to add more than one car.

Is it possible to be more than one user registered with the same car?

Yes, those who share a car, can all benefit from Visitors. You simply add the car to the different accounts separately.

Parking

Do I need to set my parking disc, when I park my car?

No, that is not necessary. In the app under the section ‘My active bookings, you have a receipt for your booking. This is a digital permit, proving that a booking has been made during the period appearing on the receipt.’

It is not indicated by the signs at the parking area that I can park with Visitors?

If it is possible to make a booking in the app, within the area - you are able to park there, regardless of the signs not indicating that parking with Visitors is possible. A Visitors booking is a time specific parking permit.

I have made a booking with a wrong license plate, can I change it?

Yes, if you press ‘Parking’ and find the booking in question. Then you will be shown which license plate is used for the specific booking. To change the license plate used, simply press on it and then you will be able to make changes.

How can I be sure that I am parking in the right place?

Every parking space in the parking groups has a specific description with images. Always make sure you read the description. There may be specific guidelines for the area you are parking in and the individual parking space. For example it may be that you have to park on the right side of the parking area.

I have received a parking fine - what do I do?

If you have received a parking fine, you need to contact the company that has issued the fine. If the parking fine was issued during a period of time, when you had an active Visitors booking, you should contact Visitors at info@visitors.dk or by phone at +45 71 99 00 07.

Can the parking attendant see the parking permits issued by Visitors?

Yes, the parking attendant can see them. In connection with the booking, the registration number of the car is sent to the parking operator’s database. Therefore by scanning the car’s license plate, the parking attendant can see that there is a valid parking permit issued by Visitors for the specific location and time frame booked - as it appears on the receipt.

Copenhagen

 

Where can I use Visitors in the municipality of Copenhagen?

Who can use Visitors in Copenhagen?

If you have a residents/Parking license in one of the areas where parking spaces are offered, you can freely book in advance, free of charge, in this area/ parking group. For example, if you have a residents/parking license for Amager Sundbyvester, you can book and use the parking spaces when you are a member of the group called Amager Sundbyvester..

How many bookings can I have at a time?

In all the groups located in the Copenhagen Municipality, you can have 2 active bookings at a time, each lasting up to 72 hours (3 days).

What happens if I leave the parking space before the end of the booking?

If you leave the parking space and do not intend to come back, please remember to stop your booking in the app - then others will be able to enjoy the benefit of/book and use the parking spot.

Frederiksberg

How do I park in Codanhus in Frederiksberg?

It is important that you make a booking in the Visitors app beforebefore you enter the car park. It can take up to 1 minute from the time you have made a booking until it is registered in the system.

How many bookings can I have at a time?

In th Frederiksberg group, you can have 3 active bookings at a time, each lasting up to 7 days (168 hours).

Does my booking end when I drive out of Codanhus?

No, you are welcome to drive in and out of Codanhus within the booked time period, your booking will not automatically end. Your booking is active within the booked period, regardless if you drive in and out of the booked parking spot. We do recommend that you annul your booking, if you do not intend to use it at all or the remaining time, when you have left the spot. So others are able to use it and benefit from it as well.

In Kolding you can have 5 active bookings at a time, each of which can have a duration of up to 24 hours.

Hillerød

Where can I use Visitors in Hillerød?

In Hillerød, there are no restrictions on how many active bookings you can have. The maximum booking length depends on times of usage and availability of the specific parking space in question.
